The Local Health District and the Murrumbidgee River are intrinsically linked so it is appropriate that we draw on its colours for this significant health building.MLHD Chief Executive Jill Ludford

The colours of the landscape along the Murrumbidgee River have inspired the exterior colours of the new Stage 3 building as part of the $431 million Wagga Wagga Health Service Redevelopment..

The colours include a mixture of greens, gold, grey and white. The facade on the new Stage 3 building in October 2020

The concept for the colours on the Stage 3 building façade has been developed in three parts: firstly the creation of the colour palette and imagery; the imagery was then applied to the building’s façade; and finally pixelated to create the façade design.

The main cladding material is a non-combustible aluminium cladding cassette. The secondary cladding material is
non-combustible profiled sheet steel wall cladding and the pre-finished solid aluminium is a high wear product, requiring no
maintenance.

Work on the facade began in early 2020 and was progressively revealed throughout the year.
