Orientation and induction
SHARE

Monday 8 March 2021
Operational commissioning of the Health Services Hub is underway.

What does that mean? All staff transferring to the Health Services Hub will undergo orientation and induction to their specific areas from Monday 15 March.

This involves orientation to the whole building and then a more detailed induction to relevant work spaces, including fire evacuation instructions, clinical emergency response requirements and scenarios for patient, staff and/or equipment flows if required.

Staff who had an orientation in the first week of March will be contacted to undertake their induction.

All furniture, fittings and equipment are being moved into the building so that staff are aware of what will be in their specific work area.

Removalists Allied Pickfords has recently been on site. On Friday 9 April, there will be two move forums for all staff transferring into the Health Services Hub.

Staff transferring into the Health Services Hub will receive an e-mail in the next week to indicate which move forum they are able to attend. The aim is to have these move forums in the Health Services Hub and all information required will be provided during these forums. Packing crates will also be provided at this time.

Clinical clean of the Health Services Hub will commence for one week from Monday 22 March. Please note that there will be limited access to the Health Services Hub during this week.

Further information about the staged move dates for staff and services transferring to the Health Services Hub will be supplied as soon as possible.
