Wednesday 17 February 2021 The car park at the main entry/forecourt of Wagga Wagga Base Hospital (image above) will temporarily close for resurfacing later this week. Weather permitting, the car park and drop off zones in front of the Hospital and new Health Services Hub will close from 6am Friday 19 February 2021 to 6pm Sunday 21 February. The footpath along Lewis Drive will close as part of the resurfacing works. Pedestrians will be directed around the car park by traffic management. There will be no impact on the entries to Wagga Wagga Hospital and the Emergency Department or the drop off zones at Emergency. The works in the car park are part of the $431 million Redevelopment of the health campus. Construction of the Health Services Hub and its operational commissioning to prepare the building for a staged opening are due for completion early this year.
